Nepenthes mollis x veitchii ‘striped’

This beautiful cross is one of Christian Klein’s most popular hybrids. The mother plant is Nepenthes mollis (formerly known as Nepenthes hurrelliana), famous for its elongated neck and striking peristome (pictured in photo 4). The male parent is a striped form of the related species Nepenthes veitchii.

These are medium-sized plants (8-12cm diameter), sent potted. Postage costs £6 via first class signed-for delivery in the UK, and is free for orders over £60. I have very few available, so don’t miss out. As you’ll see from my photos of a mature specimen, this cross is well worth the wait!

I grow this hybrid in my highland greenhouse, but they can also be grown successfully in typical intermediate conditions. For more cultivation advice, see my Nepenthes Growing Guide.
