Nepenthes platychila x veitchii

This is a hybrid I’ve been trying to find for a long time! The reverse cross - N. veitchii x platychila - is one of the best plants in my greenhouse. It’s a vigorous grower year-round, and as you can see from photos 4 & 5, it produces magnificent pitchers. I expect this cross will quickly become similarly spectacular as it matures - just take a look at the parent plants, featured in the first photo. I have very high expectations for this cross!

I have a very limited number of seed-grown individuals for sale. These are small but established plants (5-7cm diameter), sent potted. While both parent species are intermediates, I expect this plant will grow happily in both highland and intermediate conditions (the reverse cross certainly does). For more cultivation advice, see my Nepenthes Growing Guide. See delivery information.
